Summary
The transition toward a sustainable energy future requires the development and deployment of innovative green hydrogen technologies. As a key enabler for decarbonizing energy systems, green hydrogen offers solutions to challenges in energy storage, transportation, and industrial processes while supporting the global push for carbon neutrality.
This Special Issue, titled Green Hydrogen Technologies, aims to gather state-of-the-art research and insights from academia and industry, fostering a deeper understanding of hydrogen production, storage, distribution, and utilization. We welcome contributions that address technical, economic, and environmental aspects of green hydrogen, as well as studies exploring its integration into renewable energy systems.
Suggested themes include but are not limited to:
· Advances in water electrolysis and hydrogen production technologies.
· Hydrogen storage materials and systems, including ammonia and solid-state storage.
· Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and techno-economic analysis of hydrogen pathways.
· Applications of hydrogen in transportation, industry, and power generation.
· Challenges in scaling up hydrogen infrastructure and policy implications.
We encourage researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to contribute original research, review articles, and case studies to this Special Issue.
