Energy engineering needs to evolve strategies for keeping up with the worldwide shift to environmentally friendly energy sources, incorporating data-driven decision-making, optimization techniques, and advanced technology. This special issue aims to discuss the most recent energy engineering research and advancements supporting robust, reliable, and green energy systems. The emphasis will be on revolutionary methods, new technologies, and multidisciplinary strategies that improve energy generation, distribution, conservation, and application.
